Qualified Social Worker | West Kent - (Job ID : jik/DTT&MCH&F)

A qualified Social worker is required to start ASAP for the frontline children`s Duty/Referral/Assessment team carrying out Child Protection Investigations /risk assessment under Section 47 of Children Act 1989. You must have completed your ABE (Achieving Best Evidence) training and joint investigation training and have experience of carrying out Section 47 investigations.

The team deals with all (CHiN & CP) referrals made to the District. You must have good assessment skills, ability to engage with parents and children of different ages, a good understanding of child development and attachment theories, and be able to work with professionals from different agencies.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Criminal Records Bureau and to registration as a qualified social worker with the General Social Care Council
