Qualified Social Worker – Child Protection ________________________________________ Position: Qualified Social Worker/Kent Location: Kent Wide Salary: £28 per hour Job Description: We are currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to work within the Child Protection team around the Kent area. You will manage a Children & Families caseload of higher levels of complexity, involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of appropriate action, to ensure the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and their families. Job Requirements: We will require you to manage a high and diverse number of cases within the parameters of agreed policies and practices. Good computer literacy, written skills for report and assessment writing are essential. You will be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues and have the ability to work effectively on your own initiative as well as within a team. You will have a good understanding of Safeguarding policies & procedures and should be working in line with the Competency Framework. Training/Qualifications: You will be qualified to Degree level, CQSW/DipSW or equivalent in Social Work with 2 years post qualifying experience. You will have your GSCC registration.
